For those that do a little work on their Boxes...
I need a bit of hellp......I'm currently trying to change the belts, but man am I stuck. Yes I've used the search button.
The main problem at least so far is the getting that bolt under the alternator loose. I can get to it with my regular socket wrench, but I can't twist it off. My torque wrench just cant fit period. I tried to loosen it from the bottom and top and I can't get it to work. Does anybody have any tips of helping me get it off?
Also I know there are 2 more bolts I have to worry about, are they gonna be as hard to loosen, as the one on the bottom of the alternator? I really want to get this done on my own, especially without paying the dealer 170, for a replacement job that was pretty much thought as relatively easy.
Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Just curious... why are you trying to use a torque wrench instead of a breaker bar. Pop some PBBlaster on the bolt and wait a while to continue working on it. With the PBBlast it should be quite a bit easier to loosen.
....hmmm breaker bar huh? LOL I didn't even have that in my radar, I was going by the service manual that I downloaded off the net a while ago.
I thought about using the torque wrench because in the manual it indicated that the bolts had to be on 44 inch-lbf. So when tightening the bolts back on, how would I be sure to put it on with that much torque, since the torque wrench wont fit.

The bolt under the alternator can be a b*%$. The easiest way to get to it .. take the passenger side wheel off. Then pop out the wheel well liner. With a long extenstion and a half inch rachet you can get it to break loose. You may have to actually stand on the ratchet to get it to pop.
The alternator belt, i have heard it us just easier to use a flat blade screw driver and pop off the old, and use it to pop on the new.
