yah i get it look like a herman munster boot... or why are you driving a toaster... i say screw em i smile every time i look at my Xb i love it. I even got my brother in law to like it. he is a Bmw guy he has an M3 and i let him drive my box. he said it was fun to drive and he liked it. he now wants to help me add my upgrades.. i mean i could have got an accord or whatever but why conform? i have loved the look of the Xb since the L.A. autoshow ... I really love my Xb more and more each day.....

The Chrysler 300 is in fact one of the "hottest" cars on the road. They must have been smoking the cheap stuff when they wrote this article...I wonder what kind of car the writer of that poll drives!

If its so ugly, then why do I get about 2-3 positive comments on my xB on a daily basis. You think those sorry folks who bought a Edsel got any reaction whatsoever? Doubt it.

good thread, good inputs. comedy comments about the xB are welcome- like the many jokes about the old Beetle and...
if you go back far enough.. jokes about Henry's Model T

Customer demands of the garageman:
"I say! What are those horrid black things all piled up in the corner?"
"Why, sir, those are the Fords."

It still gives me a warm fuzzy feeling everytime I go to fill up and see these behemmoths filling up. I giggle as I pump under 20 bucks of fuel and their pump goes over 50.

Most of us drive our Xbs while surrounded by cars like Acura, BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Porsche, etc. People will either conform or confront. I choose to confront the norm. I choose not to spend $40K plus on an automobile. I choose not to get 19MPG when the average price of gas is $2.20 in my area. I choose not to look like everyone else on the road. I choose to have a car that stands out. Too bad for the other manufacturers that you didn't see this coming. Scion is here to stay. Look at the sales numbers and the customer Toyota has appealed to. Its a matter of choice. I chose to trade in my speedster on an Xb and Im not looking back....thanks Scion.
