The xB looks nothing like the element. IMO The xA on the other hand looks like every other hatchback out there. But that's just me though.

Is this an element or an xB?

Whatever your style. . . Make your Scion your own!

1) I can fit a 2-3 sets of golf clubs and the people with them in my xB. A high priority for me.

2) Better visibility.

4) Fits more cargo.

5) I'm 6' 3" and wide. xA is too cramped .

6) Opinion only, but looks a lot better than an xA.

7) Easier to get in and out of.

Need more reasons.

But, having said I'd take the xA over the tC.

Hey guys LET'S NOT TURN THIS INTO A FLAME WAR!!!!

But you guys are right about the xA having more market overlap with other models than the xB and/or tC.

But in defense of the xA, like the xB, it has many many pros to it, vs other compacts. The xA actually has superior interior room than many cars in its segment, and even larger cars. Secondly, like the xB, it is VERY fun to drive. And finally, the price is sweet! One of the best bang/buck in the Scion line.

I think another reason this car doesn't do as well, is the lack of advertisement (xB doesn't need ads, as each car is a rolling ad for itself). You wouldn't believe how many times in a week people freak out and ask me what kind of car it is, and who makes it. Not many people know about them, and if they did, it'd probably sell better.

Secondly, Toyota predicted that the xA would outsell the xB, and thus concentrated ads on the xB. . . maybe a bad strategy on their part?

For a little more money, you get alot more car with the xB!

I traded down in size from a Dodge Grand Caravan, to an xB with no regrets.

This was debated in another thread already...

Why aren't xAs as popular as xBs?
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=45556

In addition to the Element the xB resembles an Astro mini-van too. xB'ers will fight that one till the end but it's true.

I prefer the sleek (if you can call it that) lines of the xA over the xB...but I can see why xB owners love their rides...they are rather unique looking...only thing close to looking like it is the Element and it is much larger than the xB...not sure I see the comparison between the xB and the Astro van...the Astro van was always the best looking of the mini vans IMO...it has always looked just like a down sized full size van...

Yeah, I'm not denying the Astrovan similarities. I'd say it's a closer match than comparing it to the Element.

Seriously speaking, scion should have came out with 2 versions of the RS2.0 xB. School bus yellow and UPS truck brown.

I know people who would definitely rock a brown box anyday

I fell in love with the xB the first time I saw it,about a year ago,and since then I've seen probably 20 different ones in my small ohio town. I also fell in love with the xA when I saw it for the first time on a commercial(didn't remind me of any other car on the road). I test drove both (xA first,as I really had no doubt that that would be the one I was going to get)and decided upon my xA. The xA seemed to handle better and was more comfortable . I rearely get out of town and the nearest Toyota dealer is about 30 miles away...that being said: xB's seen in real life=20+,xA's seen in real life=1...mine. That seems pretty unique to me.

lol i LOVED the Lego vs. Egg-o thang. had me crying haha

love my box. its true about the astro van--my friend always calls my xB a van then i yell back that its categorized as a wagon--is a van a wagon? haha anyway. i wouldnt be able to stop if i started a list about all the reasons why i picked the xB over the xA....but after I got the xB and went Scion shopping with my best friend (so she could get xA/tC) i thought the xA was super cute---i think the antenna does something to it...without the antenna it'd be...not that cute somehow.

We need a pic of an egg, a slice of toast and a wedge of cheese and it could represent the entire SCION line!!!
