Sorry, gang... have to vent.

Was stopped at a stoplight and WHAM. Big ol' GMC Yukon rams into me. Only minor damage, but damage nonetheless. Wife and 2yr old daughter were in the car, but nobody hurt. Thankfully.

Guy even admitted that his cell phone rang and distracted him.

Now I get to deal with insurance crap.

If he admitted fault, even better. Just make sure he doesn't change his tune. Either way, the person behind is normally at fault. Glad you're all okay!

Wow, that is deja vu. I was in my wife's new RS 3.0 yesterday on my way to pick her
up from work. I was stopped at a long red light when wham, the Lady in the SUV
behind me forgets that when searching your purse you must keep your foot firmly
on the brake pedal. She put about a three inch gash in the bumper cover. The repair
estimate is $574.05 for a new bumper cover, paint, and labor.

Not normally at fault its always at fault.I was hit in the rear before(different car) and the guy was arguing saying that I just stopped and he hit me.He was trying to tell me it was my fault. Then the cops showed up and the guy told the cop what happend and told the guy that it doesnt matter why I stopped and that it was his fault. You need to leave enough room to stop safely and if you dont you were following to close and its your fault no matter what.People need to wake up when driving and stop the damn tailgateing.Ok Iam done.

When i had my old BSP xB, i got rear-ended at a stop light, 2 weeks after getting it back from being repaired from another accident. A deer jumped out in front and messed up the front end, but the box took it well, the deer got the blunt of it

I just bought an 06 with 3200 miles on it. I was driving it home from Independence, Missourri to Warner Robins, GA, and a sod company's big rig zipped by me and got in front of me and threw rocks from it's trailer bed all over my hood. Two big dings. To top it off, I was only 15 minutes from home after a 13 hour drive.

At least they left a note.Did they give you their info?? If they did they are very responsable people that did the right thing. You should thank them for hitting you and not some other a$$ hole.

Sorry for the hit though I know it sucks..

They left their info...which NEVER happens. I called them and they contacted their insurance. I thanked them for being so honest. I almost feel bad that now we both have to go through all this insuance crap for a tiny scratch. I would let it go if the car was older...but since its 2 weeks old i want it fixed.

Eek!! I hope my xB doesnt get hit when I get it. Is there RockBlocker for the hood? Sorry bout your B at least no one was injured. The funny thing about your accident is that I was in a car accident in 2003 and I was in a Yukon and it got hit. Wasn't too much damage but too bad for the old F-150 that hit us had to get towed off the scene. WTH I never got payed for that!!
