Thanks to a lot of info obtained on these boards, I have purchased a Thundercloud manual xB from Van Phan at Piercey Scion and it should be in transit to Detroit today.
I have only seen one other xB in the Detroit area. It is at a toyota dealer who uses it to transport parts. I'm still not sure of the delivery date. Hopefully not to long.
Van has been fantastic throughout the process. It was certainly a unique experience to buy a new car from out of state, have it shipped and do it almost entirely through email.
