I don't know if this is new or not. I was at the dealer and saw they had SRD (Scion Racing Development) stickers. They're in the same typeface as the TRD logo.

They should start by ...oh i don't know.... maybe making some actual performance parts for Scions? When I say "performance parts" I don't mean wings and spoilers and fart can exhaust pipes that add 3 hp either.

 

Yeah... like maybe a set of lower compression forged pistons and stronger rods (for turbo) and a few different cams; maybe one for mild street N/A, one for turbo, and maybe a race set N/A.... hmmm... what else... stroker/big bore kit maybe? not sure how close the water jackets are to the cylender walls, but I'm sure we could manage a 1mm increase in bore (maybe big bore steel sleaves too?)

Toyota= Toyota Racing Development

Lexus= L-Tuned (no longer exist)

Scion= Not SRD, not S-Tuned, but something else. I dont know what. :?

 

SRD = Slow Racing Development. And the tag line - "quartermile in under 18 seconds gauranteed!"

 

Prodigal Performance would fit.

Actually, I think SRD means "Slower Rolling Downhill."
