Default Anyone else have this issue?

Hi guys, I traded my 05 xb in on the 08 xb less then a week ago and have noticed an issue with my windshield. The best way I can think of describing it is that it is covered in little specs on the outside of it that make it sparkle when sunlight or headlights hit it. They won't come off with the windshield wiper, or the wipers at gas stations. Does anyone else have this issue? Is it just some chemicals from the factory and will come off in time, or should I take it to the dealership and make them get rid them? I wouldn't have any problem with it except every other window is crystal clear, and since I'm in AZ the sun hits them and makes the sparkling very distracting while I'm driving. Any suggestions?

hahahaha tree sap. I have had the same thing happen to me. Thats what mine is from anyways. And i can't get it off. All my vehicles have it from the same darn tree. But it's the only shade so i take it, you may have to just get a razor blade and scrape it off. Because on my cars i can feel it all over little tiny bumps. Almost think the tree ____ed on my car at night or something.

razor blades do work, but don't want to dig to far into the windshield, don't want to give your car angel wings.

I have the same thing. I think it is because there was no coating on the windshield. I got them after I washed the car for the first time. 5500 miles later, still there.

Vinegar, or a vinegar base cleaner may work. I haven't tried that yet. I was going to try Stoners, but I bought a can without the nozzle.
