California Car Duster
Does anyone reccommend using the California Car Duster? It just seems like a bad idea to me because I am under the impression that rubbing stuff across your car while it's dirty/dusty is bad for the paint. I dunno, maybe it's just me.
No they dont scratch. "The Original California Car Duster" has been a trusted and popular product among car show people for a long time. As long as it is used on a clean/dry car it will not affect the finish. Just wash it out occasionally between uses
I have used on of those for years. It is really meant, as others have said, to remove that really fine dust that settles on your car between the time you parked it and the judges walk by. I would not use it if my cars was dirty, like after a rain for example. Being very light with the the duster is key. But they work great. Especially here in AZ where if your car sitts still for any length of time it gets a noce layer of dust.
These things are awesome. I have been using them for years. You do not dust a truely dirty car. They are for removing light dust (from people walking around the show) and pollen. You lightly glide the duster over the surface, you NEVER scrub with it.
