Default DIY smoke headlight side marker overlays - No more orange

Clean the surface with alcohol, wipe it real clean.

Peel off the adhesive backing.

Spray a good amount of soapy water to both the headlight and sticky part of overlay.

Position and alignment in progress.

Spray again on the outer layer.

Use a squeegee / credit card, press down the overlay to remove excess water and bubbles.

Option : Use a glue gun / hair dryer and heat it up and press again with squeegee.

Tada!

No more orange color. But light still shine through during the night.

When it is time to sell the vehicle, I can remove the overlays easily, just peel it off and go back to stock look again in a snap of fingers, with no / little residue left. Isn't it nice?!

Wow man nice job! It actually looks pretty sweet...and clean. Did you just buy film and cut it yourself or did you buy the overlay from somewhere? I think I will be doing this soon!

I had HID on them, covering the whole headlight will dim the light, so this is not my option. I am happy now covering the orange part and remove the turn signal egg yolk, clean..........
