Hello! Hoping someone can tell me what to do IOT eliminate a door noise on my 2015 xB. Attempted to attach a video with audio but won't load (believe because it's an MP4 file). Regardless, the sound is a deep creaking one, present when either opening or closing the door. I cannot pin point but believe it's the device to keep the door from opening only so far (black rod between the hinges). This is the driver's door. The noise appeared, literally, overnight. I've used some WD-40 on the hinges and the rod device to no avail.

Door function is not impeded. No accident or anything like that occurred either.

Mine had a recall on the window seal which was deformed from the factory and caused the squeaking while driving. I remember the car was full of squeaks and rattles when I first got it but the rest went away after a while.
