I have a 2014 xB and the driver door hinge is squeaking. I put some wd-40 on the visible hinges but it did nothing.
Any ideas on how to resolve ? Do I need to get some silicone spray and spray it inside the hole where it connects to the door ? Thanks

 

White lithium grease piles up better than WD40.

The tricky part is locating the squeak.

My 2014 xB driver door just started doing this as well. Tried several different products as well as a healthy dollop of lithium grease to no avail... so far.

 

I took it in to the dealer for an oil change the other day and asked them to lubricate the hinges. They did, but told me it could take some time to work it's way in.. still squeaking a bit.

 

Need to get some lube on that black plastic door opening restrainer. It can squeak too.
