It doesn't help at all. The OEM spoiler on the gen 1 was thicker and curved at the front to direct air down across the rear window. The gen 2 spoiler is much thinner and is flat or maybe slightly angled at the front so it doesn't do anything other than maybe keep the rear of the car more stable.
i may just wait on the spoiler then, as i am not too crazy for the new styling - should be some aftermarket stuff showing up in the next few months i hope...hopefully after SEMA!

It really dries spot-free with no hand-drying. Perfect for me because I love my car but I'm lazy. Just make sure you use a wash mit with it, (pro-series comes with one, starter kit doesn't) to get it completely clean.

Thanks a lot for that info!

i use a detail guy i have had for years now to do the hard stuff [waxing etc..] due to my arthritis, but i wash it in between and that would be a lot easier on my body!

i just stopped by Darkside Motoring today in the sfv and they think that some new spoilers/wings may be coming after the SEMA show. i am going to wait and see what they get a hold of and Kenny said they may have some things coming over from Japan for the new xB soon as well!
