Default LED Lighting Question

so i want to get some white led bulbs for my back up light (yes i know it'll suck, but it already suck now so i don't really care) and my license plate lights. i have 3 questions.

how many bulbs will i need for the license plate? also, i see they have up to 24 leds and all this nonsense on different bulbs, and i wonder if it will even fit? lastly, can someone recommend a reputable place to get them from that won't charge an arm and a leg? thanks.

the license plate is "wedge type" i think there are many numbers for the same bulb. but my understanding is the wedge type 3digit lights are all the same just different wattage.

i put 194 inverted lens LEDs from a ridiculously expensive dude on ebay and they look good. be careful when putting the black trunk cover back on cause some of the clips may have come off.

Where can I get these LED lights? And how much wattage would I need to produce something like the LExus?

autolumination.com

thats where everyone seems to be getting their lights but i feel that they are kinda overpriced on some of their products. and also their website kinda feels like it was made in an intro to computer science class...

and LEDs are measured in mcds or lumens. if you want something super bright find one of the multi-LED ones. but all of the white LEDs on that site will get you the same color as the lexus style. i prefer having a dimmer light cause i dont see why people have to read my license plate so clearly...

you'll need 2 license plate lights. I got them from superbrightleds.com (or something like that). I know other people here have also ordered from them too. I think i got the 4-led bulb. If I had to do it again I'd get the brighter superflux led

Yea, it comes with two in a pack. Hopefully they will be as white as I want them to be.
