Default LED Replacement ?

Hey all I need some advice on my 08 xB headlights. Has anyone done the LED replacement in stock headlights and if so any
suggestions on what ones to use and what ones to stay away from. I like the LED brightness and clarity but I don't want to fry
on coming traffic eyeballs. I've been all over the interwebs looking but I see several applications and many say very or extra bright.
Also hopefully I can get ones that don't pulsate.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

When looking at LED replacement bulbs you want ones that mimic the looks of the stock filament in a halogen bulb to get proper light output. So a bulb that is as flat as possible and has the LEDs as close to the center line as they can be. I just put this set in my daughter 07 Civic and they work great,
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FXZMBGP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FXZMBGP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

That being said, generally HID bulbs work better in a projector headlight like ours than LEDs do. I used the LEDs for her car because the Civic uses a reflective housing similar to our high beams.

What's your opinion on these?

Amazon Amazon

Not sure how the civic bulbs install but on the scion there is a rubber piece that goes over the bulb after the bulb is clipped into place. then after the rubber piece is pushed on creating an air and water tight seal; the wire harness is pushing onto the light.
the issue i had was that the "canbus" which is hardwired in line was too big. I was concerned about moisture getting into the headlamp assembly so I forced it into the hole and black taped it. (EDIT: when i went to take the pictures the rubber pieces that
I pushed on as well as I could were hanging out of place. so this isn't going to work unless someone has a fix.)
otherwise they are as bright as any high end lights you see on the road.

Is that a fan on the end of the bulb? The fan will need to circulate air, so you will need to save the rubber grommet in the trunk with the spare tire
Some of the suppliers show that you need to cut out the rubber boot to go over a static heat sink.
Under the amazon item they show a grommet for the bulb perhaps?? (frequently bought together)

isn't that rubber boot supposed to prevent moisture from entering and collect on the headlight lens?

Yes, but I don't thing you can use the original with the LED bulb. This was suggested under your amazon link - it might work

Yes, higher quality bulbs use copper heat-pipes and heatsinks instead of aluminium. Conducts heat much, much faster, so doesn't require fans. Also more durable and longer lasting. Fans don't last very long, especially if you live in humid and rainy climate. When fans die, so does your bulbs.
