Default Is my HID dead?

My HIDs warm up fine until once warmed up or in the progress of warming up the driver side just turns off after a 20-30 seconds. I had the HID kit for 1 year+ now and I'm wondering if the bulb is done. If the bulb was done, wouldn't the HID just not turn on at all?

I would try swapping the bulb from side to side and that will tell you if it is the buld or the ballast. If the buld turns on fine over there, then the bulb is good. If it dont and the other one turns on fine when moved to the other spot, then your ballast is bad.

Exactly what I was about to type.

Make sure your connections are good too.

Perhaps the relay or somet fuses? Check for corrosion on the connections. I had to replace a relay on my kit and this time I used some dielectric grease and silicone to seal it all up.
