Default Pillar Vinyl Removal; I need help!

I want to remove the vinyl on the front windshield pillars on my 2nd Gen xB but do not want to do it without being 100% sure on how to do it. Should i use a heat gun and some adhesive remover?

a plastic razor blade might help in the removal. instead of using a finger nail. most body shops use a plastic razor blade.

The only problem with this is if they did a repair, like leveling out a seed or crater, they usually don't fix the sanding. Hopefully they didn't go to far and you can just polish it out.

Were you able to polish it out? They are usually not too aggressive on the fix, just knock it down so you can't see it under the tape. I can just imagine someone peeling off the tape and going, "aw man". LOL

I did the whole "awe man". But I was able to buff it out. Haven't tried it on my second gen. Plus I have the carbon trim on the doors.
