Yay or Nay?
No, no, no. I'm definitely not going with chrome wheels. I think that will make it look a little bit too tacky. Which is why I stuck with just the chrome handles and door pillars. At some point I'm going to finish up the look by importing some JDM blue mirrors and chrome mirror replacement covers (not stick-on). But that will cost me a lot of money, so it's not something I'm doing right away.
For wheels, I've finally decided on going with Volante Torino black wheels with yellow trim as I'm going for a black-yellow-chrome theme on my CSM box.
When I get a chance (maybe tomorrow), I'll snap some shots of the box so that you can see the progress I have. I'm still running on stock hubs and have not had a chance to finish painting my interior trim, what with full time school and work.
But it definitely looks really good together. I'm not going all out with the chrome look, and the wheels would totally throw the whole look off for sure.
EDIT:
It's hard to visualize it with all this text on here, but I'm providing a link to the topic that contains my wheel choice, which will dynamically accent the black-yellow-chrome theme I'm aiming for.

It's pretty much the only wheel I can find with yellow accenting without having to pay an arm and a leg for.

Anyway...
Here are the long overdo shots from various angles. Granted, more mods are on the way, including a raked suspension drop (most likely Eibach Pro-Kit) and possibly a staggered setup with 17s up front and 18s in back. The plan for wheels are in the above post, but I'm sporting a black-yellow-chrome theme on my CSM.

In pictures 4 and 5, you'll notice that the chrome trim is scratched, but that's because some idiot backed up and sliced into my car. I haven't had a chance to replace it yet, but it's on my list when I have a good solid day off.
In picture 6, I have most of the trim painted yellow, but once I have a good solid day off, I'm going to finish the rest of the pieces.
I know how ugly it looks right now with all the dirt kicked up into the wheel wells, but once I get my wheels and then drop it, problems will be solved.
I will also be swapping out my tails most likely for the ones at the following URL: http://www.longoparts.com/ScionLife/...ife.html#xBTOP and at some point getting the chrome tailgate garnish, too.
