2009 Scion XB (4 Cylinder) 0-60
lmao @ you thinking you won a race
the car was ten years older than yours, may have had a million miles, maybe HE was playing with YOU to see if youd be dumb enough to race on the interstate
people who do that are the reasons my insurance is so high
do us a favor, dont take unnecessary risks to prove your xb2 is faster than anything...we dont want to lose another SL member
fail of the day

Actually, Ive been in enough races to tell when someone is trying to race, especially when they jump their car at the light. Also has nothing to do with the miles, we wanted, he got it, and he lost. Run whatcha brung, reason why Im not going to pull up to a light and jump on a Dodge Challenger.
As to the rest, whatever. Insurance isn't high because that many people race, it's because the general population arent very good drivers. Almost all of my driving is hwy at 5-7 miles over the speed limit using cruise, and I even use cruise on two lanes when I can. What I see, using cruise, is people that cant hold rates of speed, people that do high speeds, people that go 5-10 miles under in the hammer lane, and people that dont know how to use blinkers and cut folks off.
My last race was probably 3 months ago, when a guy in a 00-07 taurus wanted to prove something to me, so I obliged.
I know some folks think racing = bad, but I think if the environment is right, go for it. Some folks do it in rush hour, and thats plain stupid.
Find another choir. I'm gonna drop it though, because I know this is one of those black and white conversations. The main reason for the post was so the OP could gauge a 0-60 time, since that was his question. The Infinity was in excellent exterior condition, so one could assume the same of the engine and tranny.

I find it difficult that Consumer Reports claims that the "other" magazines may wind up getting test cars "tweeked" by the manufacture.
You guys think this is true? I'd swear that after putting the cheapy Ebay CAI on the xB I'd bet my 0-60 is around low 8's. Wonder what tweeks Scion did for R&T?
