Considering my build date is 7/07, my battery is now 4 years old (purchased the xb 10/1/07). Im actually shocked that its gone this long considering the extreme heat in the summer and unusually COLD winter (past 2 years) its been through here in TX.
How long has/did yours last? Im hoping for at least one more year but I wouldnt be shocked if it goes this winter if we have another one like last year.

The TrueStart toyota batteries typically last around 5-6 years and are warrantied to 84 months. Obviously climates have their issues with batteries but if you're worried about it i know getting a load test done at your dealership would at least be cheap insurance for your mind.
I got my 2009 xB in July of 2008 and it lasted until Dec 2010. Probably could have squeezed another month or so out of it, but I was taking a road trip to N. AZ. and didn't want any problems starting the car in the cold. Any battery that lasts more than 2 years in the Phx heat is a good battery, IMHO.

here in Miami FL AC always on and remote start used everyday! Battery is still working like its new, it just started to go in the red on the battery eye witch means its still OK......... By the end of the year im gonna swith over to a dry cell.
