Default For those interested in a performance dry filter

Check out AFE.

They make both the oiled and non-oiled drop-in filters for our xB's and are of excellent quality. Just received mine today and the construction is absolutely flawless. Seals extremely well in the airbox as well.

I ordered my Pro Dry S directly from AFE and they had it built and sent to me in about 3-4 weeks. Cost me $48 shipped.

Model #31-10151 for those interested.

AFE does not seem to be talked about as much on here as much as K&N and AEM so I thought I would share these excellent products with those who may of not heard much of AFE.

And for those concerned about filtering ability, the UOA's (oil analysis) returned with this filter in the airbox show low levels of silicon, which is the main element found in the oil when the filter is either bad or just a bit too efficient (K&N, which reports very high levels. Silicon can cause wear/damage in the engine).

I will let you guys know how the filter feels and performs after I drive it a few days. I don't expect any mileage increase or anything but I am taking note of it anyway so I will report any observations.
