Default Throttle body cleaning and...

have a question.. I cleaned the inside of the throttle body and the plate by wiping it with a rag and carb cleaner.
I disconnected two plugs that were connected on top of the air hose from the filter to the throttle body and the other next to it.
Now after restarting the car the I noticed the ide is higher and the VSC and check engine light are on. Is there a way to clear those codes? and hopefully the idle will come down also?

My car is 2009 XB
Thanks

UPDATE: Well I did some searching on here and came up with some posts about people with TC's and the same problems I was having. The conclusion was to disconnect the battery for a while and reconnect after about a half hour. The VSC and check engine light are gone and the idle has come down a bit. I will watch it and see how it goes.

The high idle is normal. You have basically reset the ECU and it has to relearn the proper idle point for the car.
