I just picked up a 2008 xB and the engine has a window in it. Needless to say, it needs pulled and replaced. Has anybody been able to pull it from the top with trans attached? I think I may be able to pull the radiator and condenser to make room?
I don't have a way to lift it high enough at home to get it out from underneath. I do have a hoist and full air tool setup. I'm used to working on bigger engines and bays.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Should be possible as the front radiator support un-bolts from the car, so if you pull the radiator and support, condensor, bumper cover and bumper I think you'll have plenty of room to work with.
