k, so here's the update. it's way too late for me to upload pics, so we'll get those tomorrow. so, sorry beckenbauer guess it didn't happen yet lol.
we didn't finish. we ran into some fitment problem with the downpipe and had to do a lil custom fab, more to come on that. I'm lucky my builder is very creative.
It is a custom kit me and my friend fabbed up.
I do wanna hit the track when it's all done. i prefer to do roadracing, or auto-x but i suppose i could run a 1/4 mile or 2.
i'm running the e-manage ultimate and we were able to find a base tune, but i'm prolly gonna get it professionaly tuned somewhere next week so i'll have some dyno sheets soon : )

The downpipe that cost a small fortune... Should fit well right? NOT!!!!!!
The fitment... poor. Bypass should have been in the front as discussed. Instead it was created on the side, touching the coolant line.
Also after mating the downpipe to the turbo fitting the wastegate to the bypass proved exceptional difficult as it was not lined up properly and did not have any flex piping.
Double FAIL
Hammering the p00p out of something that should fit perfect.
Wastegate reassembled at the tuner shop. Obviously installed with an air tool. Crossthreaded to HELL!!! Had to retap the cast iron manifold.
FAIL
Missing hardware... compressor & wastegate bolts. Tune shop did not return all hardware given to them....
FAIL
The whole day involved getting stuff with very poor fitment to fit. I even had to extend the primary O2 sensor cable because the bung was fitted to far away on the downpipe.
FAIL
Steve had to modified an 02 sensor because it was hitting something and now we may have nicked a wire at the base so that sensor may be shot.
FAIL
I used some of the pin outs found on the stickied thread here to hardwire the E-Ultimate into the ECU. Took FOREVER! Everything has been soldered and heat shrunk.
Still not %100 sure it is wired correctly. Some of the connection names were ambiguous. Did my best we'll see.
I was able to reconnect power and update the emanage without anything frying so that is a good sign so far.

The FI/C needed because of the FI/C producing noise and feeding it into the ECU. I used a 2.2kOhm resistor to bridge the +/- CAM MAG signal if I remember correctly on my FI/C I installed on my 05 tC.
