2008 xB Convert to USB ports for iPhone?

Hello fellow Scion owners. So I have a question: Is it possible to change the 30 pin cable connection by the middle console to a USB port and still work with the factory radio?

Or should i just get a whole new unit that comes with the USB ports?

Nope, the stock 08 radio does not have the protocols to work with a modern iPhone. A new radio is the easiest fix and will get you better sound quality.

If you find something that still works with the steering wheel buttons. Keep us posted
I bought some stuff from a company when I did my preamp outputs. If I remember correctly, they also had a fix for that as well
