Ok so randomly my phone stopped recognizing it was in a cradle.....then a couple days later it wouldnt charge in my dock - thinking the cable was a problem I changed to another plugin USB port adapter and it doesnt work either...


so my cig. lighter doesnt work - I checked the acc 7.5amp fuse under hood and the 25amp acc B fuse under dash

Scion XB2 btw - both fuses are fine and replaced - I pulled the dash apart and checked the seating/wire going into it and all is fine looks good


obviously radio and lights etc all the stuff works fine so I really dont think its a fuse what the heck else could make the port not work ?!

There's a 15 amp fuse for the 12v socket under the dash, you may have pulled the wrong fuse.

 

I didnt see that listed in the owners manual, it shows an accessory fuse 7.5 under the hood and the accessory B fuse 25amp under dash says for
"CIG" and "ACC"

Ill look again though
