Default AVIC-Z2 bypass finally available

For those interested, and who haven't kept up with AVIC411.com in the last week, Hyperite has finally found the bypass. It involves grounding two wires, and updating the software (ISO link provided in post).

I did it this afternoon and works without a hitch.

Default Avic Z2 bypass

I found this website that has alot of bypass guides for Pioneer Avic Units

Pioneer Avic Z1 Z2 Z3 Bypass Guides

They also have bypass guides for Pioneer Avic D1, D2, D3, N1, N2, N3, N4, Z1, Z2, Z3, F700BT, F900BT & F90BT.

I just bought one a week ago and i love it. its great! and the Pioneer Avic Z2 bypass works great.......thanks

I heard the z2 has some over-heating issues, etc ,and alot of people arent happy with it...anybody here have it and have these problems?

Did you try avic411.com as posted in the first post in this thread? That's pretty much the place to go for any Pioneer AVIC unit

If you're talking to me, i know that site well, some of the people on THAT site had the same problem and was just curious if any of my scion brothers/sisters had the issue
