Default Bazooka sub in xB

Is it possible to install the Bazooka bass tube subwoofer (part number : PTS20-52040) from the 1st gen xB to the stock head unit of the 2nd gen xB? Has anyone tried this? I'm not looking for a lot of bass but I am looking for a cheap and easy install.

I too would like to know this. I picked up a free Bazooka bass tube subwoofer last year at a Scion event and never thought I would use it. Since I purchased a Second Gen xB this past weekend, maybe I could throw it in, just for kicks.

I got one from Exposed this year and was gonna hook it up, but decided to go aftermarket instead. From what I've been told, it will work on any Scion radio. There are two harnesses with the Scion Bazooka tube. One hooks up to the wiring harness from the radio, the other plugs into the back of the actual head unit. I have the upgraded pioneer with the RCA outs, so I'm going aftermarket instead.

YEP its possible.

Using the harness from the 1st gen and the sub straight out of my 2006 xB I was able to install it in my 2008 xB.

You will encounter no problems.
