Default Burning a MP3 CD

Hey everyone, I have been burning MP3 cd's using Windows Media Player 11 and it plays fine in my xB2, however it places all of the music into artist folders

Three Days Grace
|
One X
|
Pain.mp3
Chevelle
|
family System
|
closure.mp3
the Red.mp3

Now, I want to have all of the mp3's in the root of the CD, so that they are randomized, since I can't figure out how to randomize the folders during playback while in the car. Windows Media player won't do that, and when I try to burn the mp3's as a normal data cd my xB's cd player says it can't find any media on the disc.
"No music found" is what I get.

Is there any special way I need to burn the mp3 cd to get the car to find the music? Any ISO or Joliet settings I need to adjust?

I'm I missing the randomize feature on the basic headunit? I hate not having it.

Thanks for any info!

Well, I use Nero to burn my mp3 discs, I assume you can do it just fine using Windows also. Just make sure you close the disc after burning and it is a single sessions disc. The factory unit will not recognize multiple sessions.

Those are the only options I selected when burning my data discs using nero and all have worked great in my SNS

try holding the random button down for a few seconds until it beeps, i can't guarantee that's how it will work, but knowing toyota radios, that's probably it.

give it a try adn let us know if that will allow you to do random through all folders.
