Default Crossover wiring questions

How one might wire a cross over with an 4 channel amp, with the speakers in three different locations?

Would you run the input wires to the amp. Then wire the cross over to the 3 speakers on the different freq you desire then bridge the two crossovers?

I am putting 8's in the front doors, then some comps in the rear door. The tweeters will go replace the stocks of course.

need more info...

the components you are using, are you putting the tweeter from that set in the front doors and the mid bass in the back doors?

what kind of subs, what frequencies do you want it to play

what kind of crossovers are you using? low pass, high pass, bandpass, 3-way, or 2-way

kicker ssmb8 , i havent decided which comp set I am getting. They will be kicker as well.

mid range will go in the back doors, the 8"s will do mid bass in the front doors.

far as my subs i have two L7 kicker 10's

well typically in a comp set you want your mid as close to the tweeter as possible.. but wire your crossover's ike normal... output from each front channel goes to the input for the crossover... then tweeter out to the tweeter and mid out goes to the mid in the back door

i'm assuming you will run the rear channels from the amp to the 8's in each door? then you just wire left and right accordingly just like the fronts. don't bridge, 1 you will lose your stereo sound, and 2, if you bridge your 4 channel amp at 2 ohms you will more than likely mess the amp up
