Here's my first attempt. Thank you for the template!

I used my color laser printer and everything turned out great. I placed this over the original gauge face, I'm going to try printing just the graphics onto clear film next.

Yeah, with my crappy night vision, I'm going to stick with the orange. I'm looking to go with some type of flame graphics on the outside of the car, so I'm setting up the theme.

pull the long platic piece around the gauges.
take off the 4 screws holding the gauges on.
unclip the harness
remove 4 small screw on the back of the cluster
play with tabs and pull off cover.
done

the way i took them off is by placing two spoons under them and prying it off. comes off pretty easily. you'll want to make/remember the positions though

I want to do this, but I don't want to drop $650 on Photoshop. The PSD loads in Gimp, but it gets screwy when you you select the layers. Any ideas?

Paint Shop Pro is comparable to Photoshop.. I dont use it all the time but I edit pics and still do fun things in it. Full version is only 90 dollars if you decide to purchase after a 30 day trial.

Really enjoy it.... Also I really like your guages xcentrk! If your reading, I'd like to see a night shot

whats a good way to tone down the bightness in the tach, fuel, and temp gauges? i tried putting the stock behind, but it killed everything. im thiking if i switch those to a blue and red, then it will tone down the blue output and keep it full though. idk i'll drop pics of it currently later
