Default Keyless entry beeper location?

I have tried to find out where the beeper is located for the stock keyless system. From what I can tell it sounds like it is under the fuse box under the hood area but I can't be sure. I can hear a relay clicking inside the car up where the steering wheel shaft and the inside fuse box is located. My problem is the beeper is not loud enough to hear in noisy areas unless you are standing close to the car. I am wanting to find something louder to replace it so I can hear it. Any help would be appreciated.

Mine is loud enough but I thought about this before too and thought it would be cool to hookup some other type of sound since most toyotas and scions have the same beeper.....and my next door neighbor has two toyotas with the same sound.

Watching this thread to see if anyone knows the location and also to find out if it is at all possible to change the sound.
