Hi
I would like to install some led overhead light to light up the shifter at night.

I know where to put them, but where can i tie into where they would come one only at night with the other lights

I was thinking somewhere in the map light or dome, but they are powered all the time with a switch

Also if you pull out your dimmer switch there should be a green wire there. Get a multimeter and test it, it should read 0v when the parking lights are off, and when you turn the parking lights on it should read 12v

I am using led singles and put them in the overhead map light to shine down on the center console.
