It has, but no problem.
Pull the stereo surround off.
Remove the two screws behind the stereo surround (not the stereo bolts).
Pull the Gauge surround,
then pull the gauge pod.
Remove the glove box.
Now look up inside the dash. You will need
to remove the 12MM bolt that secures the
passenger side airbag.
Lastly pull both of the A pillar covers down. This is tricky
since Scion used special plastic tabs that have to be
turned to be removed. Once those are out, you should
just be able to pop the dash right up. You can then
unplug the airbag or just keep the right side of the dash propped up while you work on the right air vent. As soon as the right side is up, you'll be able to get to all three screws.
