- [Add & Edited May 3, 2009 :: 12:53] Some of you may not know who I am & think, who the F is this person?, but I am the GROUPIE that have been in the Scion community for over a year through a former friend. My name is Jacki. I drive a Silver VW New Beetle, you may have seen me at events/shows, and meets. -

Time to say GOOD-BYE for now to the Bay Area. I am moving to San Diego by August 2009. The process of moving will start mid-July. This means I will be up and down California a few times this summer. Everyone knows I love to support everyone in the Scion community no matter what, but as for this summer, I’ll be supporting mostly through spirit. I will be on the forums here and there if anyone feels the need they need to contact me if you do not have my phone number to call/text. I am NOT leaving the Scion community, I am just moving to another area of California. I look forward to expanding the Scion community through Scions R Us and Scion Life in San Diego. I will miss everyone up here once I move down to San Diego, but I will try and visit often.

I want to take the time that I have and the initiative to thank everyone for their friendship, their care & love, and to accept me into the community like a family member even though I do not own a Scion. I always look forward to meeting more people in the community. I appreciate everyone & everything that you have and may have done for me. The times spent together are always priceless and memorable.

Most will ask & a few know, but I am moving because my mom’s company is moving down to San Diego. My brother will be staying in the Bay Area, as I will be moving with my mom into an apartment in hopefully the Mira Mesa area. Everyone is more than welcome to visit and to say hi or to just simply hang out.

Please be on a look out from me about a garage/moving sale. My mom and I do have a plenty to sell. If anyone is a comic book or toy collector OR knows of anyone that is one of those & willing to pay a good price for the collection, please let me know. Trust me we have a HUGE collection of Star Trek, Star Wars, X-Men , Fantastic Four, Spice Girls [YES, I said SPICE GIRLS], Pokemon [I was in middle school] toys. Along with : X-Force, X-Factor, Generation-X, Fantastic Four, The Uncanny X-Men comic books. My dad use to be huge collector, that’s the reason why we have all of it. Please, I am NOT looking for someone to rip me off because these are all items that collectables & are kept in great-mint perfect condition. ALL of the comic books are in the plastic protector bag thing. I don’t remember what it’s called, but ALL of them are protected and stored in a box.

A garage/sale IS set for the upcoming weekend, May 9-10. Alameda is having a Park Street Festival, which is a street fair. Here's the link: http://www.shopparkstreet.com/springfestival.html . However, there will be more information to come.

Jacki- love you darling!! Soooo glad to have another good friend going down to SoCal with us! Even though you're a few more hours south I know I'll be seeing alot of you. I wish I could help you with your garage sale like you helped with mine. I promise to help you unpack when you get down there!

Welcome to my situation 4 years ago. I'm originally from San Jose but moved to San Diego. Not too far from you actually. You'll like it in SD but it's different than the Bay.

 

I'm actually excited, but then not 'cause I'm gonna MISS everyone up here. But the move will definitely do me some good especially in BEAUTIFUL San Diego !

 

GARAGE SALE going on right now until 3/4 PM. It's EVERYTHING MUST GO TYPE OF DEAL. There's a TV, speaker, a exercise thingy, books, baby bed frame, & a few other stuff. If your interested, PM, I'll try & check every hour or so for PMs. Otherwise, just STOP by. It's going on today & tomorrow. There is a Festival a couple blocks away from my house, so beware of detour routes.

yeah thekevin is my bro, he frequents the Scion meets. The people there are very nice.. you might like them better than the people in the bay lol. I love the weekly meets. Probably 15 cars at least every time.

 

LOL, I'll always love & cherish the memories I shared with people in the Bay. I'll make new ones by going to SoCal. Thanks for the heads up though !

Update :: My mom & I will be flying to San Diego June 9th. Coming home June 13th. If you guys have anything you would me to give to Will or Melissa, please feel free to let me know. Or have something you may want from San Diego, do let me know also. If I recall correctly a few people from NorCal will be in SoCal for the SpoCom event. I unfortunately will not be there on Sunday as I will be home already.

Adding on to that, I will be MIA for a little as the economy is starting to suck even more. Gas is no longer neverending for me.

The move date has NOT been set yet, however it is set for Mid-July. I will be up here majority of the time, but I will be once again in San Diego BY August.

I am & will plan a huge BBQ in Alameda for a "good-bye" get together type of deal as few of my friends have said they would like to hang out before I leave. Look out for that. Of course, everyone & more is welcome!

So once again, ANOTHER update. Last week, most of you know I went to San Diego with my mom to look for an apartment. With our luck, we have found a new place! It is located in Mira Mesa, approximately 10 minutes from my mom's job site. We get the keys July 14th, but our move is set around July 20th. NOT on it, but sometime around then. I have yet to start packing as July 20th is not far from now. However, this is my update for everyone who maybe interested in helping or just be around to give a wishful good luck to the move.

I will set a farewell picnic/BBQ in Alameda for all Scion & non-Scion owners to attend. I know there are a few out there that would like to spend the day with me before I move. I will be back a few times during the year, otherwise, I'm glued to San Diego until the holidays come around. I'll try and update periodically for those who are curioius. Thanks for listening guys! <3
