The hear setting is prefered when listening to talk radio or sports; the feel setting for music.

Agreed. Feel = Music. Everything else = Unused.

Also fun is to hold in the SSP button until the vehicle selector comes up and then to change the dynamics of your sound based on which car you select. I read somewhere that most people like the xD setting, but I really prefer the xB one.

I disagree. Neutral seems to put the tweeters out of phase. Hear and Feel apply different EQ curves that boost the treble and bass, and seem to put the tweeters back in phase.

Hmmm after having the premium HU for 5 months, I'd have to say they all suck after putting my old Alpine deck back in! The jump was only from about 12 watts rms to the Alpine 18 watts rms but the sound qaulity difference is rediculous. I can listen so much louder and so much clearer on the stock speakers.

O well, those are getting tossed out anyways. Coming in this weekend... Infinity Kappa 6.5" up front and 6x9s in the c-pillar... can't wait to get nearly 2000 watts in the box!!

^usual icreased soud levels. ie. feel has much more bass as if listening through headphones. hear is great for spoken word things. neutral is just that. the settings are tuned for each car. due to shape and style of cars

it's not sound levels really... more changes in the equalizer settings..

the main settings are just that, feel is more bass and you "feel" the music more... etc.. etc..

differences in the car settings are more lareger changes in the equalizer and other things where from the factory, they played around with each vehicle and adjusted them to be optimized to each... (though some people prefer to change them regardless based on preference)
