Default Is there a single wire for all doors?

I'm hooking up a new alarm and cannot for the life of me find a door trigger wire that works with all doors. Anyone had any luck? I have tried the wires listed in most of the posts with no luck.

Not sure if it will work but you can try to tap into the wire going into the Guage cluster that turns on the dash light. It works when any door open.

Domelight FTW I have the wiring for our xb posted on here but has never been stickied amongst strong support for it to be so. I will get the link and add it.

Big plus to using the domelight on our xbs is it turns on when the doors get unlocked even if not opened, one second extra to protect your ride.

That's the wire I have tapped but only triggers alarm when drivers door is open. I have it on the negative trigger on the alarm. Does it need to be on the possitive trigger?

Depends how ur alarm is desined to operate.

If i remember right i tested that wire with all the lights and it worked fine.

Put it to the dome light. Its a 6 pin plug with 3 white wires come out of it.

Tonight I will hook to the dome light wires and test it. I have never had such a simple project mess with my mind so bad. Back in 92 when I was an installer we never had all these options. A door pin was just a door pin.

The doors in the xb are all negative trigger. The domelight circuit monitors all the doors, the door wires I believe are all seperate, look at the link I left above.

The hatch in the xb is a seperate wire. You dont have to worry about it really as the hatch can only be opened when the doors are unlocked, if you have it connected to domelight as soon as the doors are unlocked it will activate the domelight.
