I used to, until I removed the license plate frame. That was the only noise coming from that area. Now its solid.

Just add some double sided tape between the plate and plate frame. Then make sure you have two strips of door insulation behind your plate towered the bottom to stop the vibration rattle.

No more noise then!

If you have a 5-Axis body kit with TRd exhaust.. could be the exhaust tip hitting the rear bumper.

Definately Gnomes, lob a can of Bug-B-Gone in the back, that'll silence em for good!

I don't hear stuff when I close the hatch......but I do hear a bit of rattling/thumping from back there when I go over moderate bumps.

I will check to see if it is the license plate frame.

I've recently been plaqued by a rattler in the right rear. I took off the license plate frame to eliminate that rattle but this one sounds like the door isn't closed all the way but it is. It only happens at low speed.

Is everything secured in spare tire compartment? There are a few items in there that could work loose and make noise. Just a suggestion...

Do you have lowering springs, new shocks, and/or a rear sway bar installed? Check your lower shock bolt. Mine kept coming loose to make noise under low speeds until I stuck some blue loctite on it.

I think the rear glass is doing the rattling, actually. No one else gets that vibrating reverb glass sound?

Everything in the cargo bay is secure as well as the side latches. Ive tried the seats up down firmly latched with the seat belts secured opened and closed all the doors.

The car is lowered Ksport coilovers with sway bar; however i have checked all the bolts and lock rings. and I cant make the exhaust swing up to contact the rear bumper. The suspension did come with the disclaimer "race parts will make noise" It is just iritating not knowing for sure what it is.
