Anyone seen the Ford Flex 2009?

As far as the Flex goes, I think it will be underpowered, I think the stance already stinks, and it makes me wonder if Ford really did leave the minivan market. I think they're just hiding a minivan, and if this catches on, I really do fear for the crossover market's future.
re: toronado
I was surprised at that trend too, figuring the Milan would just suck interior wise, but I liked it all around better than the Camry. No interest in an accord.
btw: One more reliable Ford Explorer sport trac 2001-2005. The design was old school from mid 90's with live or one piece axle yet the bugs were all beat out of it by 2003 and it is surprisingly reliable. Consumer reports liked it too! You had to get rid of the crap-ola shocks and update the swaybar then coolness. Oh then they blew it redisigned everything. Sucky gas milage though.

At 80" wide, and 68" tall, that's 3 inches wider and only an inch lower than the Freestar (AKA Windstar) minivan it replaces.
So, yeah, they are definitely hiding a minivan in there. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Just depends on your personal prefs/needs.
Personally, I feel we need more microvans here in the USA. They are dime a dozen elsewhere in the world. Yet here we only have the Mazda5 and Kia Rondo (if you can even call that a microvan - it's more like a mini crossover).
I "Wish" they would sell the Toyota Wish here!

Hey guys, Buck Rogers is on my phone and he wants his car back!
Good God, from the front it looks like a toaster with Ford badges and a Escalade grill.
Power gate? LED taillights? At least for your standard $26k toaster clone you get a V6 and fog lamps.
Why would I buy an American made vehicle especially a Fix Or Repair Daily? I had me once in my life and that was two too many.
The only thing I have that is American is my Harley and I'll keep it that way.
