A/C compressor problem possibly?

A/C compressor problem possibly?
Aloha,
As some of you know i when just replace a blown motor this past weekend, the A/C was working fine and we didnt disconnect anything, just moved it aside when we took out blown engine and installed the new one.
Everything is hooked up but the compressor dont switch on any more. got Freon inside, but the pressure was real high when i hooked up a gauge to it, I let some out and nothing but air came out. so i put some in there today, but still nothin.. , the A/C fans come on, when i disconnect the pressure switch the fans go off, so i know the switch is working fine.
Any ideas? fan blows hot air, or blows what ever air on that day, heater works fine, blows hot air.
