Just got a update from Varad and they appreciate all the feedback and are moving forward with R&D on the product.

Key points are that it will be a DRL style system quality in fit, finish and visual impact are the goals.

Pricing is still a concern and IMO is going to be based on how complete the kit is. If it is a true replacement piece with a relay, harness and a manual override switch or just the lighting unit with universal connection.

So let em know if it is important to be a complete package or just the replacement piece with instructions on how to to install...

and thanks again for the feedback

it'll be nice if you could make it looks like a factory option instead of some ebay poop and please make it vertical and compatible w/rs5
only a horizontal version would be even remotely compatible with the kenstyle lip, you're probably going to be out of luck here, or need heavy modification to make it work (which Is my favorite ;D as you can see)

nothing wrong with euro style!
if i like it enough i'll make it work

yea I mean, get the product finished first of all, decide the most marketable fasion afterwards, I'd say every single scion owner lives within 25 miles of another scion owner who is handy, so with this forum, and the others people who can't install it themselves can find someone to do it for them so a bare bones piece wouldn't hurt, but whats it really cost to add the wiring harness?

Glad to see its moving forward, hope its a Horizontal though =(

so i guess its going to be the vertical style then? i dig the horizontal ones mo'betta, but i could see that causing problems and/or driving the price up. a plug and play system would be nice... something that uses the factory fog light harnesses (for those not running them) and an option to wire it yourself, with all necessary hardware, relays... minus wiring. either way, if the quality is good, the price is right and the company stands behind their product, people will buy them.

i agree completely, if its a good product, ill buy one as well. i like the accent lighting, its great for putting something like that on with the fogs right before it gets dark for that hour or so. hopefully it wont be long before we can click "buy it now" but it be better than some of that ebay poo

Upate can anyone help out and get some high resolution shots of the area behind the plastic filler panels both driver and passenger area and rough measurements for clearance and/or any other obstructions that might cause issues? Remember this needs to be stock bumper covers...

you can e-mail them to toy.xbox@gmail.com

Thanks
