Default A couple cosmetic updates to the engine bay

Spent the last two nights doing a little work under the hood. Nothing performance, but a little cosmetic work. Still have a lot more to do, but thought I'd give you all a sneak peak...


Here is the custom CF heat shield we created (no, it is not a vinyl wrap):


And here is my engine cover so far:

I think I want to work on the engine cover more...

I like. Very clean.

Two ideas, both of which may just be garbage:
- The engine cover body in the white, and the raised middle in the black with VVT-i in the white?
- I think you should do something with the front emblem. Maybe have the background (and even the lettering) in white?

Thanks for the compliment. I have already decided to redo the engine cover... it's gonna be killer. As for the front scion logo, that stays as is, no offense.

ive seen people just take off the heat shield and use heat wrap. but looks good customization thats what scion is all about

That's a neat little trick there. I like the effect that creates.

You thought about mass-producing those CF heat shields?
