Spent the last two nights doing a little work under the hood. Nothing performance, but a little cosmetic work. Still have a lot more to do, but thought I'd give you all a sneak peak...

I think I want to work on the engine cover more...

 

I like. Very clean.

Two ideas, both of which may just be garbage:
- The engine cover body in the white, and the raised middle in the black with VVT-i in the white?
- I think you should do something with the front emblem. Maybe have the background (and even the lettering) in white?

 

Thanks for the compliment. I have already decided to redo the engine cover... it's gonna be killer. As for the front scion logo, that stays as is, no offense.

Looks good, Sweeet! I like everything as is excpt the engine cover, as stated before. Can't wait to see what else you do to it. A+

 

ive seen people just take off the heat shield and use heat wrap. but looks good customization thats what scion is all about

The black is paint, the white is vinyl

 

That's a neat little trick there. I like the effect that creates.

You thought about mass-producing those CF heat shields?

 

Perhaps not mass producing, but I might be willing to do a few more
