Default Deactivating the auto-Lock & Unlock feature

I'm new to Scion Life and Scions in general. I just purchased a new xB, but I do not like the Auto-Lock & Unlock feature when you shift from Park to Drive and back again.

I read the manual and did what it told me to do, but it does not work for me. I want the locks to activate when a certain speed is achieved.

If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you, xB Rookie :D

If you can't get the instructions in the owner's manual to work, then go back to the dealership. If your sales consultant can't do it, then a service tech most certainly should be able to.

Not saying you are dumb, not in any way, because I had trouble getting my 5-speed to activate at 15MPH, but keep at it. You may think you are doing it right, but until it actually does work, you are not.

As strange as this may sound, you HAVE to follow the owner's manual instruction exactly. If any step is off at all, it won't work.

Keep trying and good luck.

Where in the manual are these instructions? I couldn't find any.

How did you get it to work. I tried at least 12 times!!!! I gave up thinking that it was not available for the Manual...

Same here. The instructions seem to be written for the auto, since it says to put the car in park. I gots no park. Maybe I should drive it to a park and try again?

Don't remember all of it, but I do recall putting the shifter in neutral with my foot on the brake. My doors lock at 15MPH now.
