another thing - the haters are a reason i keep the car actually (not the only reason obviously lol). if my preference is that important to them and apparently is their business then im going to fuel the fire haha. let them waste time hating the car when you are out and about loving everything about it. this is my mentality.

people hate that i have the xb and can't believe i went from a $70k mercedes to this thing. that irks them and i let it! the xb is a far better car and i tell everyone the 1,000 reasons why. i've had several luxury cars in the past but the xb1 made me realize that you dont have to spend crazy cash to have something you love.

if you're happy with it, that's what matters. if it gets under their skin, let it.
(very well said. in the words of pharrell, be happy)

I take crap from some friends too. But I know they love the box. Good gas mileage and very reliable. I used this as an example. My friend bought a jeep grand cherokee. For those of you that dont know Dodge, Jeep, Chrysler have been the lowest rated cars in america for 20 years. So i said to him lets look at a 10 year old XB and a 10 year old Jeep and see what the difference in price paid to what the car is worth now. LOL ITS SO FUNNY "2005 Jeep Cherokee Same options as the scion with 100K miles in excellent condition books for $7,973.00, the scion xb in excellent condition books for $6.423.00, now the prices new on those cars...................... scion xb =$13.730.00 thats a loss of $7,307.00 over 10 years. Jeep Cherokee =$28,325.00 thats a loss of $20,352. HMMMMMMMMM almost 3 times the depreciation."
