Default Driving fast is great!

So today, after having my xB2 for almost three weeks, I finally got to drive it at around 70-80mph for more than just a few seconds.

I don't have any mods other than 235/40/18 tires/wheels, and I was quite surprised and happy at how easy it was to drive at those speeds....the car didn't even flinch. Very stable....I wanted to go faster. You guys with lowered xB's must really be smiling.

Maybe coming from a 4Runner, I forget was I was missing....and it was fine at those speeds too. But in the past I have had an Integra GSR....and this xB is at least as good.

yea in like ten minutes. This car is not made to do 130 for ANY period of time. Also there is a rev limiter at 130 as well I believe so whats the point. If you want to go fast then get yourself a new Vette ZR1.

The point for me would be, I cant afford a ZR1 .. number two, noone takes a ZR1 up that high.. I barely see them hit 40mph..

LOL at ten minutes.. I raced a xB2 with my first gen.. we hit 125 , I topped out he ganed 10 cars after that point, in no time and held it for a long time.. the xB2 is quick (this was KillerCain's xB, before boost)

No, the the xb2 is mechanically restricted to 127 mph.

Yesterday was my fastest speed ever in the xb2, 107 mph. Could have gone faster, but my Fiance started freaking out

It probably is, most are at HIGH speeds. According to all the info in the TC forum, 127 mph is the max (for the 5-speed, unsure about the auto).

You guys are a bunch of idiots for driving that fast on a public road... And if you think going 130mph in an XB is stable, then that just further proves my point. Please email me your names and addresses so I may report you to the correct local authorities...

Unless you do the speed limit at all times then please S.T.F.U. I seriously doubt you've NEVER broken the law while driving.

There's a big difference between going 75mph and 130mph... Oh wait, I just noticed you were from Texas... George W. is from Texas so I'm not surprised you're a dumb ___ too.

LOL you sound like a little kid with your Texas comment.

Doesn't matter a-hole you are still speeding and breaking the law. My brief run up to 107 with no one around was safer than you doing 75 mph in traffic.

Again, if you think 75mph is the same as going 130mph, then you are an idiot. The time it takes for an XB to reach that speed is not safe. If there happens to be any road hazards on the highway, it can be potentially very dangerous for the driver and passengers, even if the road is clear. This type of conduct should not be approach with this type of thinking, "Unless you do the speed limit at all times then please S.T.F.U. I seriously doubt you've NEVER broken the law while driving."

BTW, there's a reason why they give you a ticket for going 75MPH or so and then let you drive away. There's also a reason why highway patrol can impound your car for going over 100MPH so you can't drive it home. At 130MPH in a Scion XB, you can guarantee that a police officer practicing good judgment will definitely tow away your car.
