Are you using MSN Direct on your HU and if so, did reception change on it? There are times now that my MSN Direct seems to drop the signal.

Sorry about the delay on responding to your post... About the Msn direct, I am totally clueless (old guy syndrome) I saw that feature on there, and pushed the button, but it looks like I'd have to register or sign up or something. Is it a subsription service ? Some sort of monthly pay thingy or is it free? I probably should do a little research (RTFM)

It's a pay subscription that supplies additional information to the Nav like Traffic, Gas Prices, Movie Times, Stock Prices, Weather, etc. It uses FM to work, so installing the Shark Fin might effect my reception. I like the service, but unfortunately MSN Direct is discontinuing the service in two years.

i have a red rs 6.0 also i really want this antenna but dont wanna lose any coverage of the gps or msn im gonna wait a few weeks until i know for sure this wont change anything.................................................:?

Your GPS will be fine, since our HU's have a separate antenna mounted behind our dashboards for the GPS. It's the MSN Direct that utilizes the FM antenna, so it's signal might be effected by adding a Fin.
