W..T..F? Who steals an xb??? Sorry for your loss man, I hope you find it in tact.

I didn't think these things were that easy to steal.....unless they towed it.

Even though im pretty far away, cars can make it pretty far rather quickly so i will keep an eye out for it. Pretty distinct really...

Wouldn't do anything to prevent towing.
The only thing that would work is Lojack (even that doesn't work, I've heard of theives pulling the unit locator out before police could track it)

or, an Alarm with remote paging and extra features like a tilt sensor & glass sensor.

But if someone is that determined to steal your car, it's really hard to stop them.

Dollar for dollar, the cheapest way to cover your car is having a low insurance deductible. This will cover theft, vandalism, broken windshields, and collisions. It's not much more expensive to have $100 comprehensive and $500 collision coverage than it is to have $500 comp. and $1000 collision. (Especially the way xB's windshields attract rocks.)

its now 2:20 here where i'm at and still no word on the car.... insurance isnt going to cover the ipod, and the tools that i had in there.... they said with such new cars they wait about three weeks to see if it shows up if not they'll settle the claim.... going to get a rental in two hours for up to 15 days unless the car is found.... if its drivable with no damages then i'll give the rental back, if its damage then ill keep the rental as long as it takes to them to decide what they want to do.... miss my car :-(

So you didnt have the LoJack Installed? I dont even know where that thing is installed on mine. Aren't they in different locations in every car so thieves dont know where to look?
Sorry to hear about the loss
