The location simply depends on where the individual who is installing it wants to put it. I know when I worked for Acura that we had two technicians that installed all the LoJack units. Neither one of them put it in the same place on the same model car, but for each model car individually they always put it in the same location.

I'm guessing they stole it for nothing more than those 20" wheels. If you're really lucky, it'll be found on blocks in a day or two.

I'm sorry that they stole your baby. Theft is one reason that I don't mind having the stock steelies and no spoiler. My car doesn't look like it is sporty in any way or like it has any aftermarket parts worth taking, so I feel like it's less of a target.

My biggest fear, some soon to be dead glue sniffer with his hands on my stearing wheel.

Just one day a year hunt down and kill some who makes their living by stealing. It could be like a game hunting lottery, put in for a license, a certain number of licenses could be sold for each neighborhood, game wardens could hand out lists of acceptable targets in each neighborhood. Lots of targets in LA County but the risk of being killed by the pray is lower in Ventura.

It sucks what being the victim of crime does to someone. Hopeully you don't find you mind filled with hate and rage.

Man , that sucks ! I hope that you will find your car intact. We're all thinking of you!!!! Well , for what it's worth I'm a firm believer in karma...What goes

Oh man, they gave you a ford ____us... That sucks... Sorry about your loss. I think John Travolta said it best in Pulp Fiction when he said "It would be worth him doing it, for me to catch him doing it."

All I can tell you is to try to find a positive. Make sure you add a perk onto your next one that you didn't have before. Karma is a beotch. They will get theirs...!!!

Good Luck to you with getting the car back. You should have gotten the XB rental they have them at most toyota dealers. I had one when my box got bumped.

Best Wishes!!!! once again I only do stuff to the inside so they will hopefully pass mine by and not even take a look at it..... that really sucks I think when they find your car and if the find the lowlife that took it you should be handed a crow bar and go to town on his hands and knee caps!!!

Aw maaaaan.. what can't people just leave other people's stuff alone?

Good luck on recovering it.

I'm gonna post a link to this this thread on newscionxb.com to get the word out to a few more people.

Again sorry to hear stuff like that happening.

Yup It seems they wanted those wheels at around 1000 bucks new. without tires. They fit a lot of cars so they want quick cash. We have a good data base of people here so seeing them on a car they can PM you as to where some have been spotted.

Correct me if I'm wrong MSR 20" style 096 7.5 wide
Also the alteza rear TLs will show up somewhere I'm sure. Include as much info to all of us about the parts and an APB can be circulated among us.

Hoping for some good possible outcome for you
