Default front bumper overlay

ok i was wondering about the front bumper over lay. i have my own vinyl and wanted to try my self. tried once and realized the area wasnt straight edged. tried again. didnt cut off little nubs left by license plate. so before i try again any one have any tips? also i was wondering if regular vinyl can be heat shrunk.

When you say measured and cut, did you make a template then use a heat gun to shrink on the curves. I want to do this but screwed the pooch first try..

if you look on blue bats over lay forum there is a whole bunch of reasons why not to go down that path. this was free and easyenough for me to do myself so i chose this route if you wanna paint it have fun but in the event you wanna sell or trade in its stuck there vinyl can be just pulled off
