I get hit in a parking lot with no cameras and no note, the damage is on the driver side rear bumper, a dent, some paint, and a big crack. so i banged out the dent and got rid of the paint marks problem is i cant fix the crack b/c its in a weird place. So im looking for a rear bumper, white if you got it. So if anybody with a body kit wants to sell me theres that would be great. I contacted my insurance they said they would give me $700 for the damage but i have a $500 deductible, so i get $200 to do the whole job. I need to cut every corner i can, Scion sells the bumper for $195 unpainted and unpreped, i need it to be cheaper than that. If you can help that would be great.

Ouch! Feel your pain. Sorry no extra bumper. Did you check w/ your local body shop? Mine does wonders w/plastic bumper bashes.

Insurance is such a crock of ____.

I betcha the guy/gal that hit you told her insurance the same story to cover their damages too. It's more cost effective to hit and run these days because cops wont investigate.

My buddy in his 05 xB got rear-ended, neck jacked pretty bad, and when he turned into the next parking lot after the guy signaled that he would follow the guy sped off. Bus was behind the guy and the driver said it should all be on film. According to the bus system, the police still havn't requested a copy, and they can't release it to my friend. Been 4 weeks.
