Hey fellas, the best Ive gotten in the city has been 245 miles to the tank, Ive driven it a couple of miles when its gotten down to the ZERO reading and when I filled up i had pumped 11,5 gallons which leads to me to believe that our xB's only bring a 12 gallon tank unlike scions webpage states 14 gallon tank.
Correct me if im wrong but the fuel light will not come on when you have 3 gallons of fuel in the tank.

bigdaddeywalt, you are correct, the fuel light does not come on when you have 3 gallons left; it comes on when you have about 2.7 gallons left (about 20 miles on remaining range). I have taken it to:
Remaining range 3 miles; took 11.83 gallons (353 miles total on tank).
Remaining range 9.3 miles PAST zero; took 12.21 gallons (331 miles total on tank).
Remaining range 13.2 miles PAST zero; took 12.34 gallons (315 miles total on tank).
More gallons needed for less miles driven is because of amount of freeway miles.
It's a 14 gallon tank, Scion just gives us a whole lot of safety margin. I did the PAST zero testing on flat land, I wouldn't want to push it on hills.

my low fuel light comes on with about 2 gallons or a little more left which is sufficient warning to fuel up...
i have put up to 12.5 gallons in it when fueling...

i only get about 260 but it has ben snowing and i dont like to scrap windows so it gets the 30 mon warm up but i only drive about 100 miles a week so a tank lasts almost a whole month sometimes

Weird thing, last night my fuel light came on and when i went to pump gas i filled her up with 10.18 gallons and i only had 225 miles to the tank, youre suggesting that i can drive my car for about another 45-50 miles before she'll run dry? I have a old school corolla and when my fuel light comes on on that car it means that I have to go ASAP to fill up.
I just dont see how people can drive their cars when the fuel light comes on and not worry because some people are saying that it is a 14 gallon tank. Like I said earlier when the mile range on my car got to ZERO i drove it for another 5 miles after that and only filled up 11.71 gallons, in which if i want to push it to the limit at about 13.7 gallons it means i can drive for about another 40 miles before it goes dry??
Like I said; Scion gives us a whole lot of safety margin. There is another thread somewhere in which somebody actually went about 30 miles past the ZERO miles on remaining range trip computer (I think it might have been jimmbomb, but I'm not positive).
